Twin Oaks Farm Weddings wishes you a successful and prosperous New Year in 2015!

We want to thank all the incredible 2014 bridal couples, their families, and friends for sharing their precious memories with us by choosing to hold their wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners and lodging at Twin Oaks Farm!  We have been honored and have enjoyed each and every one of you!

For the next few weeks, I will be highlighting pictures from our many wedding weekends of 2014.  Every wedding has been unique, creative, and BEAUTIFUL!  :)  Our first wedding for Spring 2015 is on March 14, 2015 and bookings go into June 2015!

Carolyn Stafford and Zach Taylor from Pensacola, Florida created a lovely and fun wedding weekend for their family and friends this past October 17, 18, and 19, 2014!  Below are several pictures of their weekend. They chose to have the ceremony and reception in the Grand Barn even though the weather was beautiful.

September 19 and September 20, 2014 - Shannon Ford's and Troy Lewis's Wedding Weekend

Shannon Ford’s and Troy Lewis’s wedding weekend took place at Twin Oaks Farm Weddings this past weekend, Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20! Mother Nature was in perfect form for the weekend.  Beautiful skies, mild temperatures – even cool enough for a campfire Friday night after the rehearsal dinner in the Hospitality Barn!  The decorations on the gazebo for the ceremony, the Grand Barn’s reception area and dance floor, and the Grand Barn’s courtyard were spectacular. The caterer for the wedding reception was Celebrations by Alexa.  Alexa outdid herself, as always, with her dishes and outstanding food table presentation.  Shannon’s wedding planner, Charlene Moulliet of Moulliet Productions was a treasure in the wedding weekend details.  She created a stress free atmosphere with EVERYTHING flowing smoothly, on time, and professionally – and SO nice!  Gary Moulliet, Charlene’s husband was the DJ and the guests danced and enjoyed his music throughout the magical evening.

Shannon and Troy’s photographer was Two Chics Photography and the videographer was Mark Foley of Foley Productions.   We cannot wait to see some of their pictures!!

The wedding party enjoyed the cooking on site by Elaine Thomas and Miss Hattie’s Kitchen and Bakery in Bolingbroke, GA for the Rehearsal Dinner.  The lovely flowers for the ceremony were designed by Gayle Ayres of Wild Flowers in Hawkinsville.

September 12-13, 2014 - Pamela Gibbs' and Nic Worthy's Wedding Weekend

Pamela Gibbs' and Nic Worthy’s beautiful September 12-13, 2014 wedding weekend was attended by so many of their loving family members and friends!  Their delicious rehearsal dinner catered by Gay’s Seafood was thoroughly enjoyed!  BJ Smith, eventplannerso.com@aol.com, catered the wedding reception with her professional staff serving the hors d’oeuvres and watching over the beautifully staged food stations!  Britni Martinez’s “sneak peek” photographs of the wedding are amazing and the ceremony and reception flowers by Gayle Ayres, Wildflowers, created a soft, sophisticated background.  The guests danced the night away to the music of the SoulShakerz Band!  Our Best Wishes go out to the newlyweds!

Danielle Anderson's and Troy Cripe's Wedding Weekend

Danielle Anderson’s and Anthony Cripe’s wedding weekend September 5-7, 2014 at Twin Oaks Farm Weddings was a fairy tale experience!  They held their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Twin Oaks Farm, took advantage of the lodging on site enjoying the hayride and early decorating of the Grand Barn for the wedding reception the next day!

Their wedding planner, Karen Casey, Karen@KarenCaseyEvents.com, directed the various weekend events including the bridesmaid’s luncheon, ceremony, and wedding reception.  Jared Lindley, www.lindleysphotography.com, captured the magical moments of the weekend.  The lovely rehearsal dinner was catered by Carrabbas and the outstandingly beautiful food presentation and delicious fare was created and catered by Leon Holloway, Cousins Catering-229 938-5402 in Americus.  The weekend DJ was Wesley Jay, highvoltagedjservices.webs.com, who had everyone enjoying the elegant ceremony with music by the brass ensemble in the Gazebo along with the soloist, Becky Smith and Brook Smith, guitarist, floating through the outdoor air.  The wedding reception in the Grand Barn was beautiful with Wesley Jay’s music creating an atmosphere of sophistication and fun on the dance floor!

Added enjoyment of the wedding weekend was an incredible photo booth for the guest’s enjoyment both Friday and Saturday!  Also, Danielle’s spectacular entrance to the pond side ceremony was created by riding in a horse drawn carriage, Victorianelegance.com, over the pond’s dam and on to the ceremony site!  Danielle and Tony used the pretty horse drawn carriage to depart later that evening!  Wedding pictures will be available in early October!

Twin Oaks Farm Weddings Improvements Completed!

Summer has gone quickly at Twin Oaks Farm Weddings and we have so much to share with you!  The past two months have been taken up with venue improvements and special events and several gorgeous weddings!

Our recent weddings, Danielle Anderson’s and Tony Cripe’s, as well as, Pamela Gibbs’ and Nic Worthy’s beautiful wedding weekends included our new additions to Twin Oaks Farm in their reception designs.

Twin Oaks Farm Weddings now has a fabulous and “larger than life” outdoor Tennessee stone fireplace in the Grand Barn’s court yard.  In addition to this natural asset, a white pergola with hanging white lights has been added to the court yard.  The ambiance created by these additions and the rocking chair porch with hanging white lights is magical!

The pictures show the beginning and the end of this exciting project!  Troy Kovac, Troy Kovac Masonry, of Warner Robins and his helper, Clayton Reeves, built our fabulous fireplace!  Tom Hunt designed and JC Langford, Dustin Wilson, and Fred Porter of Pineview built the pergola!
