Last Friday and Saturday turned out to be one of the prettiest weather weekends we have had this year! Tasha Copeland and Dalton Perry had planned to spend Friday and Saturday night at Twin Oaks Farm with their family and friends during their wedding weekend of rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and decorating the Grand Barn while enjoying each other with the hay ride, campfire, and exploration of the farm venue.
Tasha and Dalton were married inside the Grand Barn. They also held their reception in the Grand Barn as well as in the courtyard with rocking chair porch and outdoor bar. It was a lovely affair and flowed beautifully. Everyone had a fabulous time!
Best Wishes to the newly married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Perry!

Twin Oaks Farm's First Wedding Weekend
Our very first wedding took place at Twin Oaks when our son, Jim, and his fiance, Molly, both from Marietta, GA, held their wedding at the farm in 2010! They had a destination wedding weekend of fun and fellowship with their families and friends from all over the United States. The wedding party enjoyed decorating the Hospitality Barn for the rehearsal dinner, holding their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner that Friday night, the campfire, the hayride, basketball, horseshoes, Corn Hole, bridesmaid luncheon, decorating for the wedding ceremony and reception, pictures, ceremony by the lake, with the finale consisting of a rocking reception with dancing far into the night! What a fun time full of great memories for everyone!
For Molly and Jim, a large tent with dance floor was rented for the wedding reception. Twin Oaks Farm recently built the Grand Barn overlooking the lake so that a tent does not need to be rented. Today's Grand Barn can seat 300 guests.
Please enjoy the attached pictures of Molly's and Jim's very special and lovely wedding weekend of wonderful memories!

New Blog for Twin Oaks Farm Weddings now titled Twin Oaks Farm Weddings Pineview, Georgia
As this is a new blog set up with Google+, I am going to be posting wonderful recent pictures of 2013 Twin Oaks Farm Weddings as well as earlier ones from April through September 2013!
It has been an exciting and rewarding 2013 for us at Twin Oaks Farm as we share Pineview, Wilcox County's and Hawkinsville, Pulaski County's beautiful and pristine farmland with brides and their families and friends from all over the United States! We have had guests visit from Georgia, Alaska, Florida, Kentucky, South Dakota, Utah, France, Nigeria, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, California, Washington, Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Montana, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Curacao, and more! Everyone loves to experience the natural beauty of the farmland's cotton, peanuts, long leaf pine, lake, and old fashioned dirt roads!
The reaction and response to our Twin Oaks Farm with its 3 red barns, white plantation farmhouse, pre-Civil War log cabin guest house, and historical militia district courthouse guest house for destination wedding weekends with lodging for 27+ guests has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are looking forward to the additional weddings we have the remainder of 2013 and those coming up in 2014!
I will post a few pictures in each blog over the next few weeks! Please enjoy the uniqueness and beauty of each of these weddings.
